A lot of black girls at my school wear their hair like this and it just looks weird to me. It looks like they don’t care about their appearance when they wear their hair like that. Sorry if this offends you.

Seeing shit like this is why I continue to wear my hair natural. I don’t have time, effort or any fucks to give about pleasing historical oppressors and neither should any other Black girl. You’re contributing to a very real problem of Black women feeling like they aren’t good enough as they are, which is why so many conform to a Eurocentric standard of beauty and putting a pathetic fucking disclaimer about not offending people doesn’t make it any less disrespectful or problematic.

and P.S. unless you plan on paying $40 a week for every black girl you see wearing natural hair to get it straightened, you can shut the fuck up and go feast on a steaming, chlamydia infested dick.
